      Correct answer is B, However, the subnet mask of the 255.255.255.224 is used when the 5 hosts bits are available because  255.255.255.0 has 8 host bits while  255.255.255 .240 has 4 bits and 255.255.255.128 has 7 host bits. I hope this helps! Have a good day!
